Summer Workshop 2019 | June 16 - July 6 | Brockport, NY

MORNING SESSIONS STILL AVAIABLE | For pre-professional and professional dancers. | "The 2019 Summer Workshop marks our 20th year of teaching and sharing our work and process. I’ve always seen this intensive as a way of channeling the philosophy of the dances we create into a shared experience. For three weeks, we’ll live together, work together, create together, and grow together. The Company builds a safe haven that allows you to challenge yourself in both mind and body and explore the individual qualities that we each possess as artists. I am confident that the personal teaching approach of the Company will leave you with new ideas, new answers and new questions about why we all do what we do: DANCE" - Doug Varone | Learn More: http://www.dougvaroneanddancers.org/events/summer-workshop-june-july-2019

Repertory

“At the heart of every work, is pure dance making and the creative relationship with my dancers is paramount to this process. I work within a very liberal and open atmosphere, and as a result the dancers are great allies in my dance making. They are intuitive interpreters of the work that I imagine. Its this great trust that allows the work to flourish”
