UNIVERSITY OF AKRON: ON LOCATION

The University of Akron is a vibrant community within metropolitan Akron, Ohio. The city of Akron offers a lively downtown, serene parks, exciting events and cultural venues that appeal to almost every interest. The University's new world-class Center for Dance and Theatre boasts seven technology enhanced studios, impressive performance spaces, and contemporary classrooms. The black-box studio/performance venue is equipped with live streaming video capabilities that will be used to share our company showings with the public. Students will have access to studio space to work independently. On-campus housing is available in Spanton Hall, a co-ed dorm just a short walk from the Center for Dance and Theatre. Robertson Dining Hall is adjacent. Free wireless Internet is provided campus-wide. Join us in 2010 as we venture to the Midwest.
